We love fostering community here at Book + Bottle and one of the best ways to do that is to host fun events where people can gather and share in their passions. Our full calendar of interesting events is below and here’s what you can expect on a regular basis:

Regularly Hosted Events
Sip + Stitch: Wednesdays 10AM - 12 PM; Have a latte or a glass of wine as you knit/crochet/embroider with likeminded textile artists of all levels; free
Writer’s Happy Hour: Tuesday 4-5PM; A combination of curated writing guidance and dedicated writing time, this is a great community to get your creativity flowing; free

B+B Sponsored Book Clubs
Fiction Book Club: Monthly on the last Thursday of the month from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)
Lady Leaders + Readers Book Club: Monthly on the last Sunday from 10AM - 12PM (outside of regular business open hours)
Genre Book Club: Alternating with New + Noteworthy, every other month on the last Wednesday from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)
New + Noteworthy Book Club: Alternating with our genre book club, every other month on the last Wednesday from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)

Wine Events
Weekly Happy Hour: Tuesday through Friday from 4 - 6PM, get $1 off any alcoholic drink on our menu and free popcorn while you drink

Lady Leaders Book Club

As a woman-owned business, it has been essential to me to have a community of strong entrepreneurial women around me. With the encouragement of my friend Kristin Berry of The Dashing Ginger, we started Leaders + Readers - Entrepreneurs, an invite-only, private book club for local women entrepreneurs. Well, the word got out and there are a bunch of other boss ladies who might not be entrepreneurs but who would benefit from reading the same sort of powerful material. We’ve opened up a PUBLIC version of the book club above and we’re calling it Lady Leaders Book Club. We’ll meet over coffee, tea, and/or wine here at Book + Bottle to discuss personal and professional development topics relevant to professional and ambitious women, especially those in management positions. Both Leaders + Readers and the Lady Leaders Book Club will be reading the same book each month (unless it doesn’t make sense), but the conversations will be curated toward either entrepreneurs specifically or toward managers.

Schedule

Lady Leaders Book Club will meet on the 4th Sunday of each month at noon. We’ve got mimosas, amazing coffee, and snacks and lots of ladies to discuss!
