We love fostering community here at Book + Bottle and one of the best ways to do that is to host fun events where people can gather and share in their passions. Our full calendar of interesting events is below and here’s what you can expect on a regular basis:

Regularly Hosted Events
Sip + Stitch: Wednesdays 10AM - 12 PM; Have a latte or a glass of wine as you knit/crochet/embroider with likeminded textile artists of all levels; free
Writer’s Happy Hour: Tuesday 4-5PM; A combination of curated writing guidance and dedicated writing time, this is a great community to get your creativity flowing; free

B+B Sponsored Book Clubs
Fiction Book Club: Monthly on the last Thursday of the month from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)
Lady Leaders + Readers Book Club: Monthly on the last Sunday from 10AM - 12PM (outside of regular business open hours)
Genre Book Club: Alternating with New + Noteworthy, every other month on the last Wednesday from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)
New + Noteworthy Book Club: Alternating with our genre book club, every other month on the last Wednesday from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)

Wine Events
Weekly Happy Hour: Tuesday through Friday from 4 - 6PM, get $1 off any alcoholic drink on our menu and free popcorn while you drink

Author Happy Hour with Brittany Ranew

We are SO excited to host the release party for St. Pete’s own, and our dear friend, Brittany Ranew’s debut novel, Riley Jordan & The Fire Prophecies, Book One: Lion of Fire.

You are invited to come hang out and enjoy happy hour while chatting with the author at Book + Bottle on October 4th from 4-6PM. Alcoholic drinks are $1/off from 4-6PM, and we’ll have lots of copies of Riley Jordan for sale and author signing. You’ll definitely want to get your copies signed, because Brittany and her imaginative storytelling are going places for sure! No tickets needed, just come by and hang out with your friends and neighbors and St. Pete’s best.

About the Story:

Riley Jordan, a college senior, goes from “least likely to succeed” to the world’s most dangerous wizard. After uncovering a plot to destroy humankind, Riley is plagued by dark visions of destruction involving an unsuspecting human girl he just met named Emma Clark, who he can’t get out of his head. Struggling to control his powers, Riley and his three best friends must portal-hop between magical realms to fight the darkness and discover the truth. Now, with graduation and Armageddon looming, Riley must face his own fears and learn how to protect those he loves before it’s too late.

Lion of Fire will take you on your own journey of self-discovery and make you face the reality of one simple truth - we can let others define us, or we can be the hero in our own story. Riley Jordan will make you believe there is a hero in all of us.

About the Author:

Brittany Ranew resides in St. Petersburg, Florida with her husband, Stephen, and their two golden retrievers, Piper and Parker. She runs a successful real estate business and celebrates the St Pete small business community on her podcast and social channels. As a self-proclaimed foodie and wine lover, she and Stephen love to embrace the local hot spots in St Pete and travel with friends and family. You can often find Brittany park-hopping at Walt Disney World, or cheering on the Tampa Bay Rays with Stephen.
