We love fostering community here at Book + Bottle and one of the best ways to do that is to host fun events where people can gather and share in their passions. Our full calendar of interesting events is below and here’s what you can expect on a regular basis:

Regularly Hosted Events
Sip + Stitch: Wednesdays 10AM - 12 PM; Have a latte or a glass of wine as you knit/crochet/embroider with likeminded textile artists of all levels; free
Writer’s Happy Hour: Tuesday 4-5PM; A combination of curated writing guidance and dedicated writing time, this is a great community to get your creativity flowing; free

B+B Sponsored Book Clubs
Fiction Book Club: Monthly on the last Thursday of the month from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)
Lady Leaders + Readers Book Club: Monthly on the last Sunday from 10AM - 12PM (outside of regular business open hours)
Genre Book Club: Alternating with New + Noteworthy, every other month on the last Wednesday from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)
New + Noteworthy Book Club: Alternating with our genre book club, every other month on the last Wednesday from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)

Wine Events
Weekly Happy Hour: Tuesday through Friday from 4 - 6PM, get $1 off any alcoholic drink on our menu and free popcorn while you drink

Literary Aura Readings + Zines with Alex Williams!

Back by popular demand - Aura Readings with Alex! This time you can get a full reading, make a zine, and snag a book inspired by your aura color! Join us on Monday, July 29th from 6pm-9pm for an evening filled with insights, creativity, and of course, delicious drinks.

We're bringing back the aura readings from Independent Bookstore Day. You'll get your aura read and an Instax to take home that shows your aura color. After everyone gets their photo taken, you'll have the chance to get a full reading from Alex where she'll use tarot and oracle readings to dive deeper into your current journey. There will be a craft station where you can make a mini zine inspired by your aura color. We'll have scissors, glue, paper, magazines, black pens, colored pencils, and markers, but you're welcome (and encouraged!) to bring any extra materials you have! The mini zines will be premade so all you have to do is fill the pages with your creativity. We'll also have literary pairings for each aura color available for purchase!

What to Expect:

  • First hour: Aura readings + Instax photos

  • Second + third hour: Opportunity to get a full reading from Alex, time to ask Alex questions and connect, and zine making

  • Full aura reading: Tarot + oracle reading, more insight into your aura

  • Materials provided: Premade mini zine, scissors, glue, paper, magazines, black pens, colored pencils, and markers

  • Curated selection of books paired with each aura color

  • Full food and drink menu available for purchase during this event

What to Bring:

  • Extra magazines, pens, or markers if you have them!
