We love fostering community here at Book + Bottle and one of the best ways to do that is to host fun events where people can gather and share in their passions. Our full calendar of interesting events is below and here’s what you can expect on a regular basis:

Regularly Hosted Events
Sip + Stitch: Wednesdays 10AM - 12 PM; Have a latte or a glass of wine as you knit/crochet/embroider with likeminded textile artists of all levels; free
Writer’s Happy Hour: Tuesday 4-5PM; A combination of curated writing guidance and dedicated writing time, this is a great community to get your creativity flowing; free

B+B Sponsored Book Clubs
Fiction Book Club: Monthly on the last Thursday of the month from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)
Lady Leaders + Readers Book Club: Monthly on the last Sunday from 10AM - 12PM (outside of regular business open hours)
Genre Book Club: Alternating with New + Noteworthy, every other month on the last Wednesday from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)
New + Noteworthy Book Club: Alternating with our genre book club, every other month on the last Wednesday from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)

Wine Events
Weekly Happy Hour: Tuesday through Friday from 4 - 6PM, get $1 off any alcoholic drink on our menu and free popcorn while you drink

Book + Bubbles Bash!

Book + Bubbles

As many of you know, we at Book + Bottle have an obsession with bubbles. . . cava, cremant, prosecco, pet-nats, ahhh bubbly paradise. Yes, champagne is great, but in the summertime we want a variety of bubbles to pop for a casual pool day or a sunset picnic in Vinoy Park. As a location for both drinking AND learning, we thought this would be a wonderful opportunity to have a bubbles takeover at Book + Bottle and teach our community a bit about the wonders of sparkling wine, all while enjoying the good stuff!

Book + Bubbles is going to be an all-day event filled with live music, collaborative tastings, sparkling wine promotions, and special vendors! You can come by the shop anytime to enjoy in the festivities and special deals, but to participate in a tasting, you'll need a ticket!!

TICKET INFORMATION

Sign up for one (or more!) of three ticketed tastings of all different kinds of sparkling wine -- each tasting will be a bit different, but the theme is the same.

Tasting #1: 10AM - 12PM

Tasting #2: 2PM - 4PM

Tasting #3: 6PM - 8PM

All three tastings will include 2 ounce pours of 6 different types of sparkling wine!! That's TWO full glasses of bubbles included in each $20 ticket! Each tasting will have a slightly different line up, so if you want to attend more than one, go for it!! Also, your $20 tasting ticket will include a $5 coupon if you want to buy one of the bottles of sparkling wine ◡̈

Your ticket is ONLY good for the time period purchased. You can come taste at any time during your tasting window, but each tasting ends promptly at the time specified. We encourage you to arrive on time/within the first hour so you have enough time to get through all six tastings in a relaxed and fun way.
