We love fostering community here at Book + Bottle and one of the best ways to do that is to host fun events where people can gather and share in their passions. Our full calendar of interesting events is below and here’s what you can expect on a regular basis:

Regularly Hosted Events
Sip + Stitch: Wednesdays 10AM - 12 PM; Have a latte or a glass of wine as you knit/crochet/embroider with likeminded textile artists of all levels; free
Writer’s Happy Hour: Tuesday 4-5PM; A combination of curated writing guidance and dedicated writing time, this is a great community to get your creativity flowing; free

B+B Sponsored Book Clubs
Fiction Book Club: Monthly on the last Thursday of the month from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)
Lady Leaders + Readers Book Club: Monthly on the last Sunday from 10AM - 12PM (outside of regular business open hours)
Genre Book Club: Alternating with New + Noteworthy, every other month on the last Wednesday from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)
New + Noteworthy Book Club: Alternating with our genre book club, every other month on the last Wednesday from 6 - 7:30 (arrive early to get a seat)

Wine Events
Weekly Happy Hour: Tuesday through Friday from 4 - 6PM, get $1 off any alcoholic drink on our menu and free popcorn while you drink

Wine Education Happy Hour: Northern California

In honor of California Wine Month, both our September classes will be focusing on our most famous wine state. Throughout September, we'll move from North Coast to South Coast and we'll share both classics and more interesting expressions. For our red wine lovers, this is the start of our red wine season, so you'll be getting a few reds in the line up that you're sure to enjoy!

This class is for Northern California - Napa and Sonoma.

Also, to show our love for California and to support victims of the horrific wildfires tearing through the state, we're donating $5 from each general admission ticket purchase for this event and $1 from every bottle or glass of California wine throughout the month of September to California wildfire relief funds.

Please arrive early, beginning at 6:30PM. Class will begin promptly at 7PM.

What you can expect:

  • Six feet of space between you and our other guests. Each person/ couple will have their own table. We're keeping tickets to a minimum to promote safety, health, and optimal conversation.

  • A line up of five excellent California wines, including sparkling, white, and red

  • A handout with information on each wine with room for you to take notes

  • Palate cleanser snacks

  • A guided tasting by Book + Bottle's wine experts

  • You can add on a gorgeous charcuterie box from Gather Round and Graze for an additional $15 that is perfect for two people to snack on
